EasyFreelance considers that the most important argument for working with an equality plan is not that the law requires it, but that everyone benefits from a more equal workplace. EasyFreelance's equality policy is established in accordance with diskrimineringsloven (2008: 567) (the Swedish Discrimination Act), which entails that EasyFreelance shall document the work on active measures in writing.
EasyFreelance has established reporting procedures in order to prevent harassment and sexual harassment. We ask for help from self-employed persons in obtaining information if they have seen or noticed something, or have in one way or another themselves been subjected to it, by reporting all such incidents to EasyFreelance in accordance with the instructions below.
EasyFreelance's equality work is based on our values that there shall be equality between employees regardless of gender, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation or age.
1. Our main focus
Equal pay for equal work – EasyFreelance can, on request, provide pay statistics that map pay differences between women and men and thereby provide information about which pay adjustments are required in order to achieve equal pay for equal or equivalent work.
Even gender balance – EasyFreelance works for an even distribution between women and men in different types of work. EasyFreelance makes it possible for self-employed persons to try new occupations, positions, workplaces and industries, which can lead to a more equal labour market.
Work and parenthood – Through the working conditions, EasyFreelance wishes to make it easier for both women and men to combine paid work and parenthood.
Sexual harassment – EasyFreelance wishes to prevent and hinder sexual harassment. No one who works shall be subjected to harassment on the grounds of gender, harassment or sexual harassment. If you are nevertheless exposed to it, contact EasyFreelance as soon as possible so that the company can implement measures immediately.
2. Scope
EasyFreelance works actively to ensure that all self-employed persons become acquainted with the content of EasyFreelance's equality policy by making it available on our website and providing information when the self-employed person registers their account.
EasyFreelance carries out continuous preventive work by examining whether there is a risk of discrimination or reprisals in general; this work is based on information that EasyFreelance receives from all employees. Furthermore, EasyFreelance wishes to be able to examine whether there are other obstacles to individuals' equal rights and opportunities through our business. EasyFreelance intends to analyse the causes and detect risks and obstacles, as well as to implement the preventive and promotive measures that can reasonably be required, and to follow up and evaluate the work in order to offer our employees as equal a working climate as possible.
The work on active measures – EasyFreelance wishes to include the pay situation, employment conditions, recruitment and promotion, training and other competence development, and opportunities to combine income-generating work with parenthood.
It is important to EasyFreelance that our self-employed persons and permanent employees conduct themselves in a correct manner in accordance with our values.
